Updates [with links]
are mentioned
lower down on
this page.
MY PLANS FOR THIS WEBSITE ARE:
I am sharing insights and my hobbies with you for your enjoyment.
I am going to try to do my best to:
1) Never need more than 3 clicks to get
anywhere in my website. I too hate
drilling down 5 or 6 clicks to find something.
2) Also I can't stand all these tiny fonts.
So I am using a larger font so you can
read this site in comfort without squinting.
3) I should warn you that if you are
on dial up [I.E. not high speed internet]
that the Model Railroading site [especially
the lessons areas] have a lot of pictures.
Although I put in small pictures [called
thumbnails] in the main area, they
sometimes lead to very large pictures.
I hope this doesn't spoil it for you,
but I also thought you should
be pre-warned.
4) You might find it easier to simply
save the pages where the tutorials
etc are. It will take a while to download
if you are on dial up, but then
you will have it within easy, and
FAST access for yourself. Rather than
keep coming here to look it up.
Just an idea. :)
Please have fun
Me on May 28th 2006.

Wednesday July 23rd 2008
Well it has been a while since I done anything here. I have added hubdreds of songs of course. But if you have gone to my song site you know that already.
I recently decided to add my list of checklists here for model railroading. I don't know why I hadn't before. Anyhow, I have added a set of checklists that you may find helpful when planning out your layout etc.
You can find them here
http://modelrailroading.googlepages.com/modelrailroadchecklists
Just as an added bit of info. I have reached over 20,000 page views on the model railroading section of my website. I feel good about that and want to thanks everyone who helped that to happen. Thanks. :)
Monday April 28th 2008
Ok on the left you will see a new section called "Songs I Sing". It is a new website I made just for the songs I have done and [God willing] that I plan to do as well. I have been singing a few songs on a new website called "Singsnap" and so I decided to inflict you guys with some songs I have done through the years.
I gave some links to newer songs but also to songs I have written [copyrighted so you can hear them just don't record them] and also some songs I recorded years ago as well. Enjoy them please.
It was fun doing them. Also please look up other people at Singsnap to as many of them are VERY good singers.
There are currently four pages.
If for some reason you don't want to scroll up my main page for my
For the Capella songs they are here.
And the songs I have written are here.
And some secular songs are here.
Wednesday March 19th 2008
Wow it has been a long time since I added anything. I have not forgotten you guys I just been busy. And one of the things I've been busy doing [along with finishing a few structures for a my layout, repairing and buildings computers etc etc] is singing. You can go here and see if you wish. I hope the link works. You might have to sign in though.

Friday Oct 5th 2007
I just found out about some really cool pics of
Durango and Silverton and also Cumbres and Toltec. I asked Mike and he said I could add him. You can find them here.
At the bottom of the page.
Enjoy.
Also the blueprints have not gone over too well so I won't be making any more of them.
Tuesday Oct 2nd 2007
Well I decided to add some songs I have done over the years to the downloadable section. For those who were fans before I hope you enjoy the trip down memory lane. For those who are new and have never heard me, I hope you enjoy them as well. The bit rate is a very low 64 [as opposed to 128 or CD quality 320] but still enjoyable I hope. And as usual here they are all free.
Sun September 30th 2007
Well It has been a while since I last updated this site but I have been busy. I have a coal tower, water tower, sandhouse and of course my trestle bridge I am working on. I have the coal tower mostly done, I am just trying to find parts for the back end of it. But I thought you might want to have a look see at what I have done so far.
Also I have a new section called "DOWNLOADABLE STUFF" where I will put things like the blueprints for the coal tower I made. You can go there and get scans of the tower I made so that you can make one as well. I found it so dang difficult to get decent blueprints that i thought i would make my own and share with all you guys.
A few of you [only three actually] out of the many I asked sent me blueprints for a coal tower and I thank you for this. They helped me out a great deal. But for some reason the others wanted money for theirs. Well I say 'stuff that'. And so just to throw 'stuff' in their faces for being so 'not nice' I am offering mine for free.
The Coal tower starts here. Enjoy as always.
Sun August 19th 2007
Well some good news for me anyhow. I finally got an ISBN number for my book. It does not mean anything really, except that the government can better track my books is all [and everyone else's too of course]. If I ever get the pre-beasts bar code I will then be "ALLOWED" to sell my book in stores. They won't touch anything that does NOT have a bar code. Of course bar codes are an OPTION, but as no one will sell anything hard copy without one, it kind of eliminates any so called 'options' doesn't it. It is not much to look at really. Just a bunch of numbers. But it is here at the bottom of the page if you wanna see it.
Wed July 25th 2007
I added some "features" also known as helps on the front page of my bible section that I hope you can use and enjoy.
Also I added a few more links to the links section.
Thurs May 31st 2007
Well I finally got it done and you can go look at it here. It is big too. What? You don't wanna guess what it is? sheesh LOL.
Ok it is the first of two bridges I am making. This one is the truss bridge and you can see it here. The next one will be a trestle type of bridge. I hope you enjoy it. :)
Sun April 29th, 2007
Well my computer broke down and so I am trying to play catch up after essentially being off line for 2 months. It really sucks but oh well. That's life :)
Anyhow, I am still trying to move everything over to the new site. I had planned on being done a month or so ago but as I said, I had comp problems.
Anyhow, I just redid the structures part and the small bridge section of the model RRing part of my website.
I think you will enjoy the tutorial more now because all of the pictures are actually in the article so you don't have to click a link anymore. I hope it is more helpful to you this way.
If you are on dialup though, it is going to be very slow so go get a coffee or something while it loads. Just a suggestion, but what you guys can also do is save the whole page and look at it at your leisure. It will take a while to download, but you only have to do it once. Then it will load a LOT faster on your own pc at home. No more waiting. This way you can follow along without waiting half an hour for it to load for you. Just an idea. :)
Well enough for now. Hopefully I will get more done later.
Enjoy.
Well AS FAR AS I KNOW the model RR section is now completely done. If you find errors PLEASE tell me. Thanks.
Mon March 19th 2007:
I have so many things going on I can't keep up it seems LOL.
Anyhow, If you own a Dell or Gateway etc PC then you know how much garbage, spyware etc they put on it. Try this out to remove it. It is at the bottom of the page in "Free Things" section of my computer page.
http://fsmcomputers.googlepages.com/freethings
Sat Feb 17th 2007:
Well along with 101 reasons not to get Vista,
I have added a lot more to my computer
section.New pages include;
I have added a small Glossary that may be helpful.
This is tiny right now, and as I find time I
will add more, but for now here are
some Google Tips.
Some Keyboard Shortcuts I know of that
you might find useful.
If you are building a new PC,
then this checklist might come in handy.
Here are some Windows XP Tips and Tricks
I have used that work.
Also I have added a ton of new links and info
in the Free Things section. I think you will
enjoy that.
And just because I don't like spyware, viruses
etc, I added a few things to the
security section as well.
Also in the Hardware info section I have
added more info on Memory, USB Devices and more.
Well that's a lot of stuff. 5 new pages and
3 pages expanded a LOT.
Now you know what I have been doing for the
past while. I don't ALWAYS play games you
know LOL :D
A lot of new stuff for you to enjoy.
Have fun :)
Sun Feb 11th 2007:
I have looked into the new Windows Vista
and found out at least a hundred reasons
to wait before buying it. Go take a look
and be amazed at how bad it really is.
ALL FACTS. NO FLUFF OR HYPE.
Sat Feb 10th 2007:
Well I redid the scenery section of my model
RR site. It is in the new section not
the old one. It should be MUCH more easier
to follow now then it was. I hope you
like the changes.
As I find the time I will eventually redo it all. I hope to be done by the end of this month, so please be patient. Thanks :)
Tues Jan 30th 2007:
I have written an article that I hope will help
you understand a bit better what the bible
says in certain spots. This will help clear
some confusion I hope.
Also, I am in the process of redoing my website.
It is still unfolding but here is a preview if you
want to look.
Sun Jan 21st 2007:
I recently found this great website and it has
tons of links. You can find it here at the
bottom of the page.
Sat Dec 30th 2006:
In Bible stuff I wrote another word study article.
This one is on Righteousness and Righteous.
I hope you like it.
Mon Dec 18th 2006:
I have added another article under "articles"
in 'bible stuff' section called
I think you will like it.
Sat Dec 16th 2006:
Well I decided to start yet another page
[sheesh where does it end LOL] called
"Hardware info" in the computer stuff section.
Essentially it is links to websites that have
some cool info on hardware [um yeah,,,
duh no kidding LOL:) ]
Ok then, anyhow, it might help you
understand computers a bit better.
Currently I have links for power supplies, heatsinks and surge protectors.
[Which I highly recommend. It will suprise you.]
So until later, enjoy. :)
In the model RR section under the "how to"
links section I put at the bottom of the page
a link to how to make a turntable. It is very
good and well worth looking in to.
Thurs Dec 14th 2006:
I have added a number of links in the
computer section under "Free Things". Mostly
to do with power supplies. If you are curious
about these things pop on over and look
into it. I even have links for beginners so
that it is not TOO technical for you. Anyhow,
it will help you to learn what this device
is and its importance.
Please browse and enjoy.
Mon Dec 11th 2006:
This may sound silly but I just realized I
have not listed any of the forums or
clubs I belong to. Well I rectified it and
you can now find them in the links
section of model RRing under
'Places I belong to'. I hope you
enjoy them as much as I do.
Fri Dec 8th 2006:
It was brought to my attention that I did
not include a part on sanctifying ourselves
in the article on sanctification. Soooo I just
added it now. Sorry for the omission.
I hope it helps those who want to know.
Mon Dec 4th 2006:
I wrote another article called The Rapture.
It can be found under Articles in the
'Bible Stuff' section.
Sun Dec 3rd 2006:
This is for the model RRer's and
youtube video watchers.
Added a 'how to' and some links on how to
get youtube.com videos downloaded
and to play on your computer.
I put it in the "free things"
links section of "Computer Stuff".
ALSO, I added another link under "Layout Ideas"
in the links section of Model RR stuff.
Fri Dec 1st 2006:
I made a new page for just signs for model
RRing. They are not new, just the same links
as before. Just that I put them in thier
own page because there are soooo
many of them.
Just in case you were looking for the
links and couldn't find them is all.
ALSO I made a new section just for links
for layout ideas. It is small now but
hopefully it will expand in time.
Wed Oct 18th:
Well this seems to be a banner day for links.
In Computer stuff under free things I added links
to MusiCutter and MP3 Gain.
MusiCutter Splices and slice mp3 files. MP3 Gain
normalizes mp3's but NOT in the way other
programs do it. Go check them out.
I added a links page called 'O Scale stuff'
That will have links to O scale stuff. Seems people
have trouble finding stuff in this scale sooo. Enjoy
In the Model RR section in links in
'The "OTHER" Stuff', I have added [seems like]
about a hundred links to old signs you can use.
They are at the bottom of the page.
These have since been moved to this page.
Also in links under
'THE PRETTY PICTURES WEBSITES'
I posted a link to some detailed model structures.
Also a guy named SimonC has made a very good
[and extremely useful] gauge for grades. It is at
the bottom of the 'tips and info' page.
In 'specific types of Railroading' in Model RR
links section, I put a link to the Pine Creek RR
under the narrow gauge heading.
Tues Oct 17th 2006:
I added some picture overviews of my layout
as some of you were asking for such.
Go to Model RR section, the link is at the bottom.
Wed Oct 11th 2006:
I just added an article about how I make my own
rail gauges in Model Railroading section.
It is very easy actually. Go have a look see.
Tues Oct 10th 2006:
Well I finally got started on publishing a section
on my scenery in the Model Railroading section.
I got the foundation part up, next is the making
mountains, then I will put up the trees section.
Enjoy.
Ok the mountain making part has been added now.
Thurs Oct 5th 2006:
I made a new section in "Bible Stuff" called "Articles"
that you can see at the top of the page there. In it I
hope to place articles I have written. The first one I
put in is on sanctification. I hope you enjoy it.
Wed Oct 4th 2006: I updated the links page called
"the other stuff" [in Model Railroading]
at the bottom of the page are
links to a neat website I hope you will enjoy.
Also in the "How To Websites" links section
there is a link to a forum dedicated to weathering
model trains. Never even knew it existed til about
5 minutes ago. Looks like it has some cool
tutorials there.
